Connected Canadians is Canada’s leading digital inclusion and technology education charity, dedicated to enhancing digital literacy among older adults. They have developed a human-centered approach to helping seniors and older adults from diverse backgrounds – including immigrant, Indigenous, LGBTQ+, and low-income communities–become confident in using technology.They have trained over 450 technology mentors who work side-by-side, both virtually and in-person where possible to tackle older Canadians’ technology objectives and goals.

SPEAKERS
Janice Greenberg
Janice supports workshop development at Connected Canadians, offering both in-person and online workshops focused on digital literacy. With extensive experience, she previously served as Program Director of Early Childhood Education Services at The Hanen Centre, where she developed programs, resources, and workshops to train speech-language pathologists and educators in supporting young children’s language and literacy skills effectively.
Phill Gratton
Outside of his volunteering role as workshop instructor at Connected Canadians, Phil is an associate faculty member at the Canada School of Public Service's Digital Academy, with a mission to help public servants and their leadership gain the knowledge, skills and mindsets required to flourish in the digital age.
